Services OfferedIndividual PsychotherapyOne-on-one sessions tailored to your unique needs, preferences, and goals — using art materials, when helpful, to explore emotions, process experiences, and build coping strategies for moments of overwhelm. This work supports those seeking personal growth, emotional healing, or help navigating anxiety, depression, relationship issues, grief, trauma, stress, and mood disorders.Trauma-Informed TherapySpecialized support for individuals struggling with traumatic experiences and their repercussions, including PTSD. Art therapy provides a non-verbal way to process trauma at your own pace, in a safe, supportive environment that allows for healing and post-traumatic growth.Grief & Loss SupportCompassionate support for those navigating the complex emotions of grief. Art provides a gentle way to honor memories and process loss, offering support to anyone experiencing the loss of a loved one, a relationship, or other significant life change.
My Therapeutic ApproachMy practice is grounded in the belief that everyone has an innate capacity for healing and growth. I create a warm, non-judgmental space where you can explore your inner world through creative expression - no artistic experience necessary.Core Principles & Therapeutic ModalitiesArt Therapy: Using creative expression as a powerful tool for healing and self-discovery.Psychodrama: Action-based approaches that help you gain astounding insights and initiate change.Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): Evidence-based techniques to address thought patterns and behaviors.Psychodynamic & Existential Therapy: Exploring deeper origins of pain or blockages to resolve them layer by layer.Person-Centered & Humanistic: A safe space where you are heard, seen, affirmed and cared for.Positive Psychology & Strength-Based: Building on your inherent strengths and resilience.Trauma-Focused: Specialized support for processing traumatic experiences safely and effectively.
What to ExpectDuring and outside of our sessions, you will be invited to use a variety of art materials for drawing, painting, sculpting, or simply playing with colors, lines and shapes. You don't need any artistic skill or experience—the process of creating is what matters, not the final product. Some sessions might focus more on talking, others on art-making, and many on both. You will be in control of the pace and depth of what we'll explore together. Art therapy can help you access emotions that feel difficult to verbalize, gain new perspectives on challenges, develop coping skills, process traumatic experiences, reduce stress and anxiety, promote self-awareness and confidence, and explore identity and personal meaning.
